April Fools in Japan/Otaku Blogosphere (Part I)
If you haven updated your calendar, today is April Fools’ Day. Instead of joining in the fun and posting something dumb and outrageous, I’ve decided to aggregate the various pranks I find over the Japan/Otaku Blogosphere.
AkibaBlog:
Akibablog has the best April Fools’ Prank today - China Man Murders Akibablog Manager. LOL they even have a crime scene photo.
Dannychoo gets a free Candy Girl from Orient Industry. Good try danny. But reusing your old April Fools’ joke just wouldn’t fool my investigative mind.
May Pretty:
May Pretty, A maid cafe in Hiroshima, announces the launch of their new manga magazine - Weekly Jumpri. Its basically features many famous shounen manga characters dressed up in meido uniform. LOL
Moonphase:
Moon Phase has renamed the site to μOON PHASE.
0verflow, announced that they would be releasing a new eroge: Sekai Days. You can watch the demo movie on Nico Nico to see a disturbing scene of Taisuke Days at the end. >_<
But they were very nice to make up for it by uploading a pdf file to teach you how to make you very own paper “Nice Boat”. The pdf is available via torrent. I wonder if its really workable. I’d might give it a try once I clear all my assignments this weekend.

Pangya JP starts their own bakery. LOL yummy.
Propeller:
Eroge maker Propeller official site is taken over by a cat
QueensBlade:
Queen’s Blade announces that Ono no Komachi and Cleopatra will be new characters in their combat artbook series.
SenakaBlog:
Senaka Blog announced their own super cool bishoujo game Sena Sena Ultimate. This game has Senaka’s mascot appearing in various backgrounds of games by Leaf, Unisonshift Blossom, Overdrive, frill and mana. It seems very convincing because the site has sample CG gallery and story description and even a demo download.
Type-moon:
Type-moon now is now all about wrestling. LOL Fate Wrestling Federation.
So that was 10 April Fools’ Day pranks that I found this morning. There are still a lot more pranks out there so I will update another post (Part II) in the evening. Do look out for Part II. ^_^
