ApriPoko Robot Takes Control Of Your Remote
Japanese love their robots and Toshiba’s R&D department are developing a talking robot to help you take control of all the remote control in the house.

This cute robot is called ApriPoko [アプリãƒã‚³] and it just sits in your living room until you start using a remote.
Once it detects the infrared signals from the remote, it will ask you “What did you just turn on?”.
Through this simple learning process with the user, the robot will remember the the various infrared signals for each device.
After that the next time you want to turn on the TV, all you need to do is tell ApriPoko to do so.
