This is a piece of unfortunate sad news for figure fans, no more future World Hobby Festival will be held after WHF Ariake 18.

This piece of news is confirmed on the official site of World Hobby Festival. However, no further information has been given as to why this decision was made.

There will be 3 final WHF events, Nagoya 08 on the 30th March, Kobe 28 on 29th April, and Ariake 18 on 05th May. After those 3 events, its bye bye forever.

Figure fans outside of Tokyo would no longer get to see nice events of figures being put on display.

Well that means one less even to look forward to now. But I guess one reason for the cancellation of WHF could be due to the numerous events have made it very competitive in this industry.

I wonder if we will suddenly see a whole lot more people going to Wonder Festival then.
