Cherry Blossom Beauties
With cherry blossom viewing just around the corner, Oricon polled a thousand people to find out which female celebrity’s beauty best matched that of the cherry blossoms. Popular actress Nanako Matsushima managed to clinched the top spot for this poll.
Nanako is a very beautiful and good actress, so its little wonder why folks in Japan think her beauty matches that of the Cherry Blossom.
But actually I still don’t really understand what is a criteria for judging how the celebrity’s beauty matches that of the cherry blossom. Is it a refreshing spring look? I only know that the cherry blossom is associated with feminine beauty.

Apparently the only person that i know in the list is Nanako. Ever since she caught my eyes in GTO live action series. I started downloading more and more japanese series but havent got the time to watch them yet. Her acting is very good and yet cute. She also chose the right husband which is Takashi Sorimach who plays the role as Onizuka in GTO. Both of them are certainly destined to be together. hoho ^^
According to wikipedia, “..the cherry blossoms are believed to exemplify the transient nature of life,” so maybe they judge it based on who looks the most deathly?
