A man in Nagoya crashed his car along the Higashi Meihan Expressway and a nice kind man driving a truck decided to stop and give him some assistance. Instead of being grateful, this man who crashed his car actually stole the truck and drove off instead.

In the end, the police mobilized 15 patrol cars to give chase on the expressway.

Here’s what he told the police:

“I was on my way to the family home in Tochigi Prefecture and my car crashed, but I needed to get there, so I stole the truck,” he told the police.
