40% Japanese Bathe with Cellphones
Do you bring along your mobile phone when you take a bath? According to a recent poll, more than 40% of Japanese have at least once taken their mobile phones to the bathtub to make calls, type e-mails, listen to music or play games. LOL

Interestingly, this poll was carried out by video-game maker Sega with 16,250 people.
The survey found that the most common reason for taking the phone to the tub was to type e-mails, followed closely by listening to music.
Thankfully, Japanese mobile phone makes have made some of their handsets “safe for the bath”. So theres no worries of dropping it into the bath.

If you ask me, isn’t soaking in the bath supposed to be a time to relax? Why would people still bring their mobile phone along? I think its rather simple to just return a missed call later.

All work and no play. Listening to music would help the bubble bath seem more relaxing but emails..wow. Maybe they’re talking to a lover.
