Naoki Urasawa to Teach Manga Classes
Famous manga artist, Naoki Urasawa is going to be a guest lecturer at Nagoya Zokei University starting this April.
Of course, he will be teaching a module on manga entitled – 「Modern Expression – Manga Class〠「先端表ç¾ã‚³ãƒ¼ã‚¹ãƒ»ãƒžãƒ³ã‚¬ã‚¯ãƒ©ã‚¹ã€. This class of will have 15 lucky student who will get to meet up with him every month. He will be teaching this module twice a year.

Naoki Urasaw is the manga artist that created award winning manga series like Monster and Pluto. He was also ranked 07th in the recent Oricon Poll: Japan’s Favorite Manga Artist.
I think that is just awesome Urasawa is helping out to develop more talents for the industry by sharing his own experiences through teaching.
Maybe this guest lecturer program might catch on and we will get to see more established artists and seiyuus coming back to teach the new generations.
