UCC Coffee: Rei & Asuka Meido Version
Yesterday, after watching Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone, I was craving for a can of UCC Coffee because we were bombarded by the posion advertising in the show. Now they have even come up with a special limited meido version.
I think Rei doesn’t look that good in the blue meido uniform, while Asuka looks reasonably okay. I still prefer the can with Rei wearing her school uniform.
So how many of you have actually tasted UCC Coffee? Does it actually taste any good?

I wrote an entry about it last year, and I still have a complete set of Evangelion UCC coffee sitting on my shelf.
Ive never tasted it but I have always wanted to try canned coffee. I do hear it is good. I hear the new Meido versions were actually in promotion of the Evangelion Pachinko machines and not the movies actually… which is very peculiar. =P

@ Deranged: Yup its for the pachinko machines. But who cares! Its got Rei on it.
Actually, in the early 1980’s when I was in Japan, while in the Navy.
The coffee is freakin’ good, nothing like getting hot or cold coffee for 100 yen out of a machine. I missed it when I got home to the US :\
nah it sucks. too milky and too little coffee taste. i still got 2 unopen eva ucc ^^
