Pure Gold Atom Boy Figure

Some people invest them money by buying gold. So what would you do if you are an otaku and at the same time want to invest money for your future? Buy a golden figure!

In celebration of Osamu Tezuka’s 80th birthday (even though he’s dead), Imperial Enterprise Inc are releasing 80 figures of Atom Boy in pure 24K gold.

This tiny figure which stands at 6.5cm tall and weigh 80 grams will be sold at 1 Million yen each.

If you had all the money in the world were relatively wealthy, would you prefer to buy this or the platinum gundam figure?

Digg!

    I’d rather buy a regular gundam model than that….

    If I had all the money in the world I’d rather build a musuem–I can even make money (probably, or not) hehehe

    I had all the money in the world? Don’t be silly, I’ll definitely take both!

    @ Hei: only a regular or a perfect grade gundam?

    @ hayase: LOL but why a museum?

    @ Kenny: LOL that is a good answer. I guess I didn’t think of that when I asked the question.

    Something about nostalgia–though in retrospect I’d probably have some problems with intellectual property blah3x ^_^;

    And if I could only get a figure, I’d have it custom-made! Golden Macross Valkyrie–or a large-scale Gundam lol
