My First Adsense Cheque
Guess what came in the post today? My first adsense cheque payment from Google.
Though its nothing much, it basically covers another year of web hosting. Therefore, alafista.com will be last for another year. YAY! ( ^ _ ^)∠☆PANï¼
Thats the reason why you see ads scattered all over the site: to cover costs for site maintenance and other miscellaneous spendings such as my rapidshare account and nicer blog design.
Hopefully it’d be another good year ahead as we close in on the first anniversary of alafista.com in May.
I’ve also decided to switch to a new and better webhost, nightmare host’s downtime is really affecting my traffic. I’m now starting to research and see which other webhosts are good. Do any of you have any recommendations?

Yay for you. Just be careful that the image blur isn’t removable, because people can edit and whatnot to see the original image. Safest way is to use a solid color over it =P

Congrats, I’m reaching somewhere near $50 and I’m hoping to reach $100 before I pay for my next hosting. As for hosting, don’t go Dreamhost, I’m currently having issues of the servers being slow.

i use 3ix and i think they’re pretty alright for the price i pay. $68/year for 20gb plan and no bandwidth limits(yet, partly my site is low traffic)
