hmm… adachi #2 &#4 in male voters? :P . anyways, some of ‘em aren’t that big of a surprise especially the male voters. i wouldn’t say their choice is based on ‘epic’ storyline since Toriyama’s biggest work is his Dragon Ball manga, and the storyline wasn’t very ‘epic’ IMO. I personally think that their choices is due to popularity during it’s run. Since most of ‘em drew/draw in the ever popular Shonen Jump. Being a Toriyama fan myself, I also pick him as #1. Despite his good-to-meh storytelling. HIs art is unrivaled IMO. Attention to detail on character clothes, backgrounds, vehicles is unmatched. Of all the shonen type artists who draw fights, I still haven’t seen anyone draw fights as fluidly as Toriyama.
Here’s my list of top 5 (though I have a top 20 list):
    1. Akira Toriyama
    2. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto
    3. Oh!Great/Ogure Ito
    4. Nobuhiro Watsuki
    5. Eiichiro Oda

  2. Inuhanyou says:

    2. Daisuke Moriyama
