I’m not sure how to choose between all these awesome manga artist. I’m sure if the remake was done by Akira Toriyama and Eiichiro Oda, it would become an epic but very long shounen masterpiece. But at the same time, I really love the art of CLAMP.
In the end, I just think that Osamu Tezuka’s work are grand classics that should just remain the way they are.
So how about you? Who do you think should remake Osamu Tezuka’s Work?

I think that no one should remake them.
I’m surprised Urasawa Naoki isn’t on there, despite his awesome work with Pluto. Or is the survey only for artists who haven’t attempted an Osamu remake yet?
Agreed.
Urasawa Naoki (Monster, 20th Century Boys), he already done it with Pluto.
it has to be said, im gonna upset alot of people, if ur easily offended dont read this.
i think everything this man has ever done is absolute bull crap, i cant even look at his character designs…
i wouldnt even tarnish rumiko takahashi, clamp, katsuhiro otomo or go nagai with his aweful stories and dreadful characters.
same goes for akira toriyama, he can shove it too, dragon ball is an eye sore, its ugly, its dull, its repetetive, they all look the same, its overly childish, i mean i never even liked it as a kid,
you can call this guy the god of manga all you like but his style just plain sucks, i think that people who like him fall into the trap of hearing ” he is the god of manga/anime” and then they subconciously tell themselve ” oh, if thats the case then i must like his works”
god he infuriates me, il stop before people start to hate me for being opinionated
its like if ur sitting there with a guitar someone says “play smoke on the water” as if its written by god, same thing applies to this guy
@ bp & AmakusaZero: The list actually contains 20 names but I didn’t see Urasawa Naoki on it. So I’m guessing that its only for artist that haven made any attempts.
@ Dee: Osamu Tezuka is known as the “Father of Anime” because he is widely regarded as the one who helped kick start the anime industry and his style influenced how anime is like today.
oh well, i still dont like him =3
@Dee: Just because you don’t like his art doesn’t mean it sucks. ): I don’t like it myself, I’d prefer more realistic anatomy in manga, but I have great respect for the man since without him, NONE of your favorite manga styles will have existed. But hearing people say their opinion as truth infuriates me as well. You’re being overly opinionated, how about a little balance between truth and your opinion, hmm?
