TRIGUN THE MOVIE – Scheduled for 2009

The promotional cover on the latest volume 14 of Trigun Maximum Manga brings news confirmation that an animated movie Trigun is in the works.
The movie will feature an original storyline by Nightow and director Nishimura Satoshi who worked on the Trigun anime series, and the feature movie will be animated by Madhouse.
However, upon close inspection of the promotional cover, you can read the sensational tagline “Vash VS Woofwood!?”. I really would love to see both of them duke it out in a new storyline.
