Man Arrested for Growing Dope in Park

Submitted by Alafista on Thursday, 14 February 20084 Comments

Public parks are supposed to be places where children can have fun and adults go there to exercise or relax themselves. However, this guy actually grew marijuana in a Tokyo public park.

Yoshiki Hosotani, 23, unemployed of Katsushika-ku, was arrested for planting five cannabis plants in Katsushika-ku’s Higashi Mizumoto Park at various times from May to October last year.

“I was growing plants in my apartment, but I ran out of space, so I started planting in the park, too,” he told the police.

I don’t know whether to call him stupid or intelligent. Stupid that he was planting cannabis in an open public park, but then, who actually knows how a cannabis plant looks like. So I think that why he got away with it for five months until he was found out.

I know the elderly folks have a nice garden in the park below my house, maybe they are planting marijuana too. ゚゚゚゚゚-y(^。^)。o0○ プハァー
