Do you look like an Otaku/Fujoshi?
Here’s a really interesting survey done by goo Ranking. What makes a man appear like an otaku, and what makes a woman look like a fujoshi. So lets see if you and I are guilt of it. ^_^

This survey was conducted last year with 1,101 members of the goo Research monitor panel through a private internet questionnaire.
50.7% of the sample was female, 6.2% in their teens, 15.4% in their twenties, 30.2% in their thirties, 27.1% in their forties, 11.0% in their fifties, and 10.3% aged sixty or older.

Thank god I’m only guilty of the 1 sinful pleasure which gives me a score of 100. Yes I kinda wear anime print cospa t-shirts to school almost everyday. Basically people dun really know what I’m wearing and they just treat it as normal print t-shirts.
So how about you? Do you carry around an anime print paper bag, wear gothic-lolita fashion or maybe you aren’t even an otaku/fujoshi?

I often wear cospa t-shirts too, but like for your surroundings, people her don’t really know what’s the meaning of what I am wearing ^^
Does it make us half-innoncent so? hahaha
Hmm..I don’t have any of the above conditions..
But I think myself as an otaku…
Weird?
WHAT_A_LOAD_OF_CRAP im sorry, that survey is all wrong, i was under the impression that otaku are people who don’t go out much, forget to bathe and smell pretty damn bad and have an obsession with something. that doesnt have to be anime you know…. i think what people seem to refer to as an otaku would be an anime fan, WELL STOP IT! ur only an otaku if you are overly obsessed and u dont wash.
wearing a t-shirt, tucked in trousers, messenger bag what ever just makes you someone who wears those things and lolita clothing WTF?! that just makes you hot! goddamn, i like thick glasses! i’m no otaku, i wash!
As u can guess this survey angered me =3
Wtf over knee socks = fujoshi? I’ve seen tons of japanese women who were clearly not otaku wearing those. What a stupid poll lol
@ Hinano: Yeah come to think of it, some items in this poll is weird. LOL
@ Dee: why would not bathing be associated with otakus? Those are characteristics of hikkikomoris.
@ Setsukyie: Its the heart and soul that matters!
@lu-k: I guess as long as people dunno what we are wearing, we can blend in with the normal people.
I used to wear gothloli clothes, but for fashion purposes. : O But it got too expensive…
I’m too into fashion to look like an otaku but I certainly am one : ( Though I wonder if I’d be considered fujoshi… not too into stuff aimed at girls.
@ alafista: I read somewhere that a prime factor in otaku-iness (yeh i made that word up =D) is that they forget to wash because of their obsessions, hey i dint make it up… I also read that at some expo’s it says “please wash before hand” or some silly thing to that effect because the people generally smell.
i dont consider myself an otaku yet im a HUGE anime and manga fan, actually a fan of japanese culture entirely. also its not a matter that you have to blend into normal society as everyone keeps saying here, you make it sound as if anime is a sin in the western world, its actually well established now. wear your t-shirts with pride, say to passers by who do not even know you and exclaim ” THIS IS ICHIGO FROM THE ANIME CALLED BLEACH!” thrust a copy of the dvd into their hands, in their bewilderment, enter their wallet and take the cash that the DVD amounts to and say “HA!” do alil dance and then make a gravey boat.
I dun wear anime t-shirts… all I have are anime ketai straps…
