Remember the manga-reading, axe-wielding schoolgirl that murdered her dad last year? Well the court has decided she should be sent to a reformatory rather than being tried as an adult.

The judge decided that the father’s infidelity had a considerable affect on the girl’s mental state. Therefore they decided to show leniency and pass her case to the supervision of the family court instead of prosecuting her as an adult.

By June last year, she had decided to kill her father, while at the same time developing a fascination with the guillotine. This prompted her to buy an ax. At about 4 a.m. on Sept. 18 last year, she crept up on her father as he slept and hacked him several times with the ax, killing him.
