Seijin no Hi æˆäººã®æ—¥
As reported by DannyChoo, many young Japanese just turn twenty and celebrated the Seijin no Hi ceremony, which is mainly held on the 14th January, by dressing up in traditional attire.

So how do these young Japanese see their future and what do they want to do most now they are adults?
Well MacroMill Inc did a nice short survey with 516 young men and women who was attending a Coming of Age ceremony, and the results are nicely summarized by whatJapanthinks.
Q1: Do you have dreams for the future? (Sample size=516)

Q2: How do you see your own future? (Sample size=516)

Q3: How do you see Japan’s future? (Sample size=516)

Q4: What makes you happy about being, or will make you happy when you become twenty? (Sample size=516, multiple answer)

Its interesting to see that while many of these young adults have dreams for the future, they dun see a bright future for themselves nor Japan. That is rather sad.
And what do they most look forward to after turning adults? Drinking alchohol. _| ̄|○
I guess its little wonder why the future is bleak for these potential alcoholics =P
