Jigoku Shoujo Season 3 Confirmed

Submitted by Alafista on Friday, 28 December 2007One Comment

A news announcement has been released to confirm that season 3 of Jigoku Shoujo has gone underway for production in Japan.

For those that are still unfamiliar with Jigoku Shoujo, it is an anime series that revolves around the supernatural horror theme. The main protagonist “Jigoku Shoujo” Enma Ai can be requested to help condemn any human to Hell. However the price for the her “service” would be that for the person who made the request to end up in hell too once he/she dies.

Anyway, the news announcement was originally accessible only through the Japanese mobile phone version of the “real” Hell Correspondence website.

But since yesterday, they have update their official news website as well with the news confirmation.

It is said that this time Enma Ai will return with new powers and nothing more is being revealed at this time.

I really like the first 2 season of the series, I’m really looking forward to season 3.

I’m having a hard time seeing how they’re going to do this, unless tehy’re moving before Season 2’s ending… which was pretty final. I can see them doing OVA’s,but another series is a bit of a stretch, or so I’d think.
