I looked up the original site http://www.vsist.com/vs/, and it appears to be an open poll site where anyone can post a poll and anyone can post an answer. Not sure if they limit people to one vote each.

I like very few animes, only ones that aren’t overly colorful and detract from the mainstream anime formula that spits out stuff like everything in Yahoo’s top ten, to be perfectly honest, the only notable ones from 2007 were Death Note and Code Geass. But I guess since those didn’t make the initial list it must only be aiming at vintage 2007 animes *sigh*, ah well, I guess anime isn’t my thing =].

Watch a couple episodes on any off these anime and i will bet my life u will be hooked. i always look on these site to find new good anime to watch, but i get diisappointed everytime, no1 has good taste. so i thought i would treat u all to whats anime is suppose to be.

i think entries such as code geass, eureka 7, curious play, deathnote, air, fullmetal alchemist, gurren lagann, deathnote, yuyu hakusho and fate stay night are good ones.. no particular order though
ya… you need to watch more anime >_> by: S1L3NT is right… u know good anime should be judge by its story line, plot, uniqueness, and the feeling that the next hours u spent watching it would be worth it… -well hmm in finished ones.. the ending matters of course.. hmmm i also notice a lot of anime entries that are stopped/ not continued or the anime only goes up to some early parts of the finished manga series are also said good.. like with school rumble, fruits basket i mean the manga is good but the anime does quite give the satisfying feeling enough

I AGREE WITH WHAT GARFIELD SAID
SOME LONG SERIES LIKE NARUTO, BLEACH ,ONEPIECE ARE GOOD BUT SINCE ITS ALREADY A HUGE SUCCESS IN THE MARKET, THEY TEND TO PRODUCE BORING EPISODES SINCE THE VIEWERS MIGHT AS WELL SE IT SINCE THEY HAVE WATCHED MOST OF THEM IN THE SERIES.
NARUTO IS OK BUT BLEACH AND ONE PIECE ARE TOO MUCH
EX: IN ONEPIECE THEY WASTED 5 EPISODES ON LABOON ALONE, WHICH IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE REAL PLOT
