1:1 Scale Rin Kokonoe Looks Better This Time

Remember the poorly painted Full Scale Figure of Rin Kokonoe in my last update on her. This time round she looks 100% better on display in Toranoana.

Its obvious that the colors are now brighter and she got a cute smiley face badge as well. So cute ~

But then I still dun think the price tag is justified. At least for those otakus who had pre-ordered her can now breath a sigh of relief.

    Still doesn’t look quite right to me. Maybe -because- it’s 1:1. The hair’s too dark, and the face .. just isn’t quite right. Looks too much like a kigurumi mask than a properly sculpted face. ^^;

    Well, that’s a lot better than it was before. Still, I was hoping that the better paint job would improve how her arms look. She still looks like a bundle of sticks.

    Not too appealing to me…maybe due to her 1:1 scale, I reckon.

    1:1? Holy crap! Don’t complain about the skinny arms, she is only 9-10 you know… And it is an anime/manga character scaled up. If you want reality, get a mannequin.
    Sure would be creepy having it facing your bed every morning when you wake up though…
