GUNSLINGER GIRL Season II Starts Jan 08
Back in August I have reported about a second season of the Gunslinger Girl in production. Now there’s news confirmation on the official site that the new series, GUNSLINGER GIRL – IL TEATRINO – would begin screening in January 2008.
This is definitely great news for all the fans of the first series and it would be an excellent addition to the Winter Season anime series.

As indicated on the official site, the earliest expected broadcast would be on TOKYO MX on Jan 07th, but can someone tell me what the heck is 27:00 hours?! Does such an ungodly hour actually exist? (´･ω･`)

Yay for a new season! Skimmed through one of the newer chapters recently, seems like all the girls have grown up etc.
As for the 27th hour of the day - probably is 27-24=3am the next morning. Something to do with TV stations starting a new programming day at 6am or something? At least that’s the case locally, with the new “day” starting with the national anthem at 6am. But thankfully, they don’t have the 2700 nonsense here…
