I’ve just read this interesting article on Mainichi JP on how the online panty trading business is booming in Japan. I guess conducting burusera trades in disabled toilets are not enough, seems like they are moving onto the internet as well.

Shitagi Bijutsukan and Panty Recycle, they are actually online sites dedicated to the online selling of soiled underwear from women whose ages range from their 20s to 50s.

These boards are packed with messages from men looking to buy used or soiled underwear, as well as from women who are prepared to sell, often at a premium price if their garments are removed in front of the buyer.

Here’s an interview with one of the seller who runs “SY-flowers”:

“My site sells only panties I have actually worn. For my first customer each day, I offer to sell them the pants I’m actually wearing at the time. And I don’t just wear any old cheap undies. My panties are always premium brand label types. (LOL, does it make a difference?) Customers often tell me how much better my panties are than the ones they can buy in the specialist shops and how they get a better arousal out of my lingerie.”

In fact, this online trade has been affecting the business of the burusera stores. An interviewed shop owner says:

“I’d be lying if I said that online sales haven’t cut into our business, but they haven’t got the originality that we can offer. We can fill customized orders. We have about 170 women registered with us as sellers and can cope with orders as specific as panty color, material and length of time that they’ve been worn. We can accept very detailed orders from customers. Some girls even let us take photos or video while they’re taking their panties off and we can sell them on CD or DVD, too. We take pride in the high level of service we can offer.”

Well I guess its an intensively competed business after all. Come to think of it, I wonder how much do they charge for a pair? I guess it must be a real lucrative business.
