Lost Your Winning Lottery Ticket?
A man in Japan who won 10 million yen in a lottery actually left his winning ticket at the lottery stand without collecting his prize!

According to the female employee, the 30 year old man man clad in blackish clothes had brought in the winning ticket to the lottery stand in Tsuchiura on Sunday. The female employee of the lottery stand asked him to stay, telling him, “This is a winning ticket. Please wait for a while.” However, she lost sight of him shortly afterwards.
The stand reported the lottery ticket as “lost property” to the Tsuchiura Police Station.
If the unidentified winner doesn’t come forward to claim the winning ticket within six months, the 64-year-old operator of the stand will be entitled to the prize!!
This is so interesting, but I’m wondering why would the owner of the stand gets to claim the prize if the unidentified winner doesn’t come forward. Shouldn’t it like go to charity or something?

I wonder how many people would turn up to claim the ticket >.<
Which charity? There are tons of different organizations out there that deserve it, so figuring out who gets it would actually be more trouble than its worth. Better that no one gets it than someone who others think shouldn’t get it does.
What’s in that man’s mind?
Since they reported it as “lost propertyâ€, the ticket should goes to the one who sent it to the station. Such cases happened in other country as well before.
