Pair of Otaku Hunters Get Jail Time
A pair of otaku hunters have been prosecuted by the Tokyo District Courts and this pair of 20 year old brother and sister gang will enjoy 1 year in jail. Serve them right!
Basically otaku hunting is sick evil people that try to extort the money from otaku. This is because in Japan, people do not feel comfortable with using credit cards and thus otaku end up carrying huge wad of money with them to get their dose of doujin and eroge and stuffs. So they become sorta easy targets for these kind of sick evil people that hunt them. For those that what to find out more, DannyChoo has written an article on it previousl.
The really stupid thing is that the brother is actually study Law. How can someone who study law actually go and commit such heinous crimes! Her sister was jobless and thus “dragged” her brother into this otaku hunt. This is just so wrong >_<
I hope they expel him. This gang of brother and sister would deliberately bump into passerby and demand an apology and followed by the elder brother threats to sue them. Thus normally the poor otaku would just settle with money.
