Kodomo no Jikan Producer Blogs on Teletama
Recently when I was discussing about the Higurashi Taken off Teletama, one of my readers Kitsune mentioned that Kodomo no Jikan was in danger of being cut off Teletama’s broadcast schedule too.
Thus today I was browsing Kodomo no Jikan’s official site. Apparently the producer for the anime has blog an entry on Sunday to update viewers about the current situation with Teletama.
Here’s a brief translation:
The producer received news that the anime series could possibly be removed by Teletama on Friday. The main reason is of course the string of violent crimes that happened recently (The 15 year old boy and 16 year old girl who respectively axed their fathers).
Of course he thinks that this is not a satisfactory answer. Furthermore, the production staff has already compiled with the TV station to censored parts of the anime.
As for now, Teletama has not made an official decision. Nonetheless, Teletama has removed the anime from their broadcast schedule.
Well since Teletama is scheduled to be aired Today (10th Oct), we will be sure to get an answer by today.
Since we are on the topic of Kodomo no Jikan, do you think it should be taken off air?

hiaz…i just hope they don’t get the axed. It’s quite saddening. And furthermore, what has lolis got to do with axing parents? If there’s a sudden case of some freaking pedophile who’s going up to children to *ahem* with them, then it’s GG to Kojika. (fyi: Interpol is indeed looking for a pedo..)
