Tokyo Game Show 2007

Tokyo Game Show 2007 kicked off at Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba on Thursday with a record 217 participating companies, featuring 720 software titles and hardware.

This convention was open to the media on Thursday and Friday, and after which was opened to the general public this on Saturday and Sunday. It has just ended tonight.

Here are 3 notable news that interested me.:

1. Announcement of the DualShock 3 Controller and PSP 2

2. More trailers from the upcoming MGS4 (I think this will be the game to turn around Sony poor PS3 sales)

3. Square Enix’s screening of videos of three new Kingdom Hearts games (for PSP, DS and mobile).

Apart from that, I felt that this was a pretty average game show. But maybe this would interest you people. There was a 1/1 scale of Haruhi statue promoting the upcoming Haruhi PS2 game.

Of course, DannyChoo did a wonderful report on the Tokyo Game Show 2007, with many nice photots taken. Do check out his site if you want to see more on what took place inside the convention halls.

Eddie Wong also took very nice shots of the babes manning the booths, definitely a must visit for guys ^_^
