Lucky Star Nendoroids - 3 Different Variations
The news has been out for a few days but I had to get my facts right before I could post this since there were so many variations of the Lucky Star Nendoroids, but all the different specs can be found on the official Nendoroid site.
Anyway, for those who are still clueless, Lucky Star and Goodsmile Company has come together to squeeze the fanboys and fangirls out of their hard-earned money with multiple versions of Nendoroids figurines.
Basically there are 3 variations of the limited edition Nendoroids sets. Konata comes together with Akira as a set and Kagami with Minoru as a set. The one with bunny ears and neko ears seen in the above pic would be the most troublesome version to get. It requires a mail-in order form that is available from October’s issue of Comptiq and November’s edition of Comp Ace, or Comp H’s Vol. 6.
As for the “dadada” Konata and tsundere Kagami will be the official homepage versions.

Lastly would be the Chara-ani version, which comes with Konata carrying a SOS-dan bag and chocolate coronet or a box of Pocky for Kagami..

All the 3 variations will be released in January 2008 for 4,000 yen each. I’m gonna get myself a Konata Chara-ani version simply because of the SOS-dan bag. =P
Anyway, thanks to shiawasekun for helping me to clarify the different versions. He’s got a nice forum figurakuan running that you can discuss the latest news on figurine news. I’d do a review on his site when I have the time. Meanwhile, do check it out if ya have the time. (”\(o.o)/”)

This is a total noob question but how would you be ordering the Chara-ani versions? O:
@ Soshi: well its a good question. Depending on where you live, you can try finding a dealer that can help you order the stuffs online and maybe help you ship back. Of course there would always be a higher price involved.
For instance, I’m living in Singapore, and I’m intending to ask KKnM to get it for me (http://theanimehouse.com/special.htm) or you can check out フィギュア 楽園 Figurakuen and ask shiawasekun for help.
KAWAII~~~~~ Nyaa~~*loli energy burns!!!!! =D~ Me need money!!
Ahh! I forgot to mention that I live in Singapore too. :D()() Looks like KKnM’s going to get swamped with orders. Thanks for the advice!!
OMG super cute!
When are these released?
@ Chraen: January but there will be no general versions available. That means it will only be possible to get from chara-ani, comtiq mail in or the official homepage order.
D: KKnM’s charging near insane amounts. I interpreted it as $180 for both? @__@|||
Oh by the way, I noticed on your about page that you’re a year 3 psych major! Are you in NUS? O:
@ Soshi: Well, its indeed kinda pricey but I think its pretty reasonable price to charge.
I’d help you people break it down for KKnM. 4000 yen each would translate to around 55 Singapore Dollars. Then we must always throw in delivery charges. So it would be around 15 - 20 SGD. So its already 70 bucks for bringing it into Singapore. I would think that offering 20 bucks for KKnM as service fee is pretty reasonable considering the fact that its impossible to get the stuffs off normal online sites like Hobby Search or HLJ.
And yes, I’m in NUS. Though I’m already in my fourth year. (I gotta update my about page soon) =P
Yeah, I don’t mind paying the price for the Comptiq ones especially, since it’s a mail-in and all. It’s just a little overwhelming.
O: Ah! You’re my senpai then!
Yup, its not KKnM that’s charging alot, its Good Smile Company!
Though you gotta admit, Lucky Star bring in lots of fans, so its a good way for them to make money.
Aaww, I want them all.
Note the emoticons beneath the pictures^^
$90!
*faints* Okay I’m not interested in them anymore…
oh yeahhh,i pre ordered the Comptiq version!! XD
Want them all too… but it’s gonna be hard to get them ^^;
Need to find some intermediaries… and that would make a lot of money for all versions ;_;
may i noe wher can i buy those fig? will dey b avasliable in singapore?
@ Tamaki: Didn’t I mentioned it in the comments above. Please scroll up to find out.
