Live-Action DragonBall Z Movie Confirmed

Submitted by Alafista on Saturday, 1 September 20073 Comments

Finally they have announced that filming for the live-action Dragonball Z movie will begin filming in Montreal this fall and winter. The film will be produced by 20th Century Fox with a budget of US$100 million.

The movie will be shot in Montreal and production work is expected to wrap up by July of next year.If you have no idea what Dragonball Z is about, you should be dragged out to be shot in the head. But anyway, it is a super duper manga that is created by the big legend Akira Toriyama. DBZ had enjoyed immense success both as a manga and an anime series.

It tells the story of an alien sent to destroy Earth, who has a change of heart and decides to join the humans in their fight against various aliens and bad guys.

I think the plot summary provided is not befitting of this epic. Just expect losta fighting, immense action and more fighting.

But personally I think that 20th Century Fox is just gonna spoil it up somehow. How can an manga adaptation look good with Caucasians (no offense) in the movie, I hope they at least throw in some Japanese babes.
