Rebuild of Evangelion 1st Movie Opens Today

Today is the official screening date for the 1st of four “Rebuild of Evangelion” movies in Japanese theaters. How I wish I can just hop on a plane and fly over there today.
From what I seen from the trailers, the movie is really turning out to be really good.
Have I mentioned that the theme song “Beautiful World” by Utada Hikaru is simply awesome. I’ve been looping the song for the past few days.

I wonder when will the DVDs for the movie come out. I must buy them! And no, I will ONLY buy imported ones. NO ODEX DVDs.
Hooray. Time to go back to the root of my fandom…as soon as the raw fansub DVD comes out! Anno gave me my otakudom and he better not take it away.
