Toei has officially announced on their One Piece official website that a 9th One Piece movie is in the works and will be set to open in the theaters on March 2008.
The movie would be a retelling of the Drum Island Kingdom story arc which took place on Winter island. Thats where they picked up Chopper. Anyway the website for the movie is here, and there seems to be links for a trailer but I can’t get it to work for me. ToT
Anyway, Eiichiro Oda is also involved in the project of writing the script so it should be pretty interesting.
