Wine for Tokusatsu Fan

Hot on the heels of their Kamen Rider Shocker Wine, Bandai has just announced the Ultraseven 40th Anniversary Wine Set, limited to 777 sets at 9,800 yen a pop.

Each is lovingly packaged with Ultraseven festooned glassware and the signature of Koji Moritsugu, better known as “Dan Moroboshi.” They’re taking orders until September 28th, so get those Ultra-communicators tuned in to the LaLaBit site. This has got to be the weirdest pop culture/alcohol mashup since the legendary Taxi Driver Sake.

If you didn’t know about the Kamen Rider Shocker Wine, it was previously released on 15 March for 15,750 yen. Anyway Shock is a terrorist organisation that was featured in the first Kamen Rider series, which was a long long time ago.

This is certainly high-class character goods for the rich. Maybe soon we might see wine for Super Sentai fans as well.

These people don’t have an inkling of an idea of how wine should be properly enjoyed…
