Death Note’s L Spinoff Movie
The Warner Brothers’ official website for the Death Note’s spinoff L movie, has announced that February 9, 2008 will be the official opening date in Japan.
Considering that fact that Death Note made the 4th spot in Japan’s Top Office Hits in 2006 (5.5 bil. yen), its little wonder why Warner Brothers are banking on this Death-Note money-making franchise. Personally, I didn’t really find the 2 Death Note movie that exciting or amazing compared to the manga itself. Maybe the 2nd movie did much better than the 1st one, but still I prefer the manga and the anime.
The teaser trailers for the upcoming movie can be seen at the website. I also found them on youtube and placed them below, though the trailers doesn’t seem to reveal much.
I wonder if the movie will be shown in Singapore as well.
could they possibly be acting out scenes of L during his childhood? as in when he is in Wolmy’s home? *wrong. spelling error.
