abingdon boy school – Nephilim

Submitted by Alafista on Wednesday, 18 July 2007No Comment

Just received the latest single for abingdon boy school. This is their third single entitled Nephilim and it was released about two weeks back on July 4, 2007.

Nephilim

The first track “Nephilim” was used as the main theme to the upcoming PlayStation 3 game FolksSoul.

Just some side info, the word Nephilim actually refers to supernatural beings, specifically the offspring of human women and sons of Gods (proposed to be fallen angels).

There are only 2 songs found on this single:

  1. Nephilim
  2. LOST REASON

Just like the 2 previous single releases, the first track is in Japanese, whilst the second track is sung in English.

Personally, I prefer Nephilim to LOST REASON, but in fact, both tracks are pretty good.

Here’s the youtube video of the Nephilim:

I think the background where they shot the pv is rather cool. Interestingly in this pv, we see that Takanori Nishikawa doesn’t wear his glasses anymore, unlike the previous abingdon boy school music videos. But they made him look ugly anyway, its better to ditch those pair of glasses.

After releasing 3 singles at such a fast pace, I wonder when they will actually sit down and produce a full album.
