Just collected my Revoltech Dark Saber today. Since it was already midnight when I started the photoshoot, I decided to improvise with special light and gotten very beautiful effects.
The above photo was shot with purple light. I really liked the shadow that is casted onto the background. It gives it a very mysterious look.
You can’t go wrong with red. It perfectly suits dark saber.
I think the one with the blue lightstick is the best. Almost good enough to be a wallpaper.
P.S. All these were taken with my new Canon Powershot S5 IS. These were the best 3 shots out of the many that I taken. Due to my poor skills and maybe the strange lighting, some photos were totally out of focused and couldn’t be used at all. Hopefully I can bring you people more interesting figurines shots in the future.

Waaaaaaaah! I haven’t acquired my Revol Saber Alter. Anyway, my haruhi suzumiya(w/ Table&PC as its base) by Konami will arrive this monday or tuesday. I had to make quick purchase before it runs out of stock.
That’s pretty cool looking. I like the shadow you have on the wall in the purple version.
All the shots were taken using different color lightsticks?
Actually I only used 2 lightsticks. But the main light source was from my blink blink keyboard. The light from the lightstick itself is way too insufficient for a photoshoot.
There is a place in Akihabara that displays upcoming RevolTech figures usually at least a month before they go on sale. I saw a cool robo (forgot what it is) on Monday thats due within the next week or two. I also go to see something that comes out a little later. Its based off an anime character – like a deformed style figure (again, dunno what it is).
The only Revoltech I have is Optimus Prime. Would have liked to get Dante and Megatron but I am not impressed with these figures. Don’t get me wrong, I think they look absolutely awesome. The problem is with the durability of the joints, in terms of becoming loose. With my Optimus Prime, I moved his arm up and down approx. 5 times (to get the pose I wanted) then the frikkin’ arm became loose! My Optimus is now disabled – his arm swings to gravity… sigh…
