Meido Qualification Test?
Think its simple to be a maid? Think again. Maids in Tokyo have to undergo proper training and even take a qualification test by the end of this year. Now thats what I call professionalism.
In fact, they have actually setup an association called the “Nippon Maid Association” 2 months back in April. They offer to conduct maid seminars starting in September and a maid qualification test starting in December.
Apparently, the association are unhappy with the current level of service. Previously as long as you were female and was willing to don a maid uniform, basically anyone could be a maid. Now they aim to introduce proper training so that this profession could become more respected and recognised.
Maybe someday we will even see the meido cafe in Singapore sending their own employees to take the certification test.
Yes, we all know what “meido qualification tests” are.
