Lucky☆Star OP Misses Oricon Top Spot

Lucky star opening theme Motteke! Sailor fuku missed capturing the top spot on this week Oricon weekly charts by a mere 2000 copies.

Apparently V6′s single, Jasmine/Rainbow sold 68,000 copies, while Lucky Star sold 66,000 copies. Those Konata fanboys must be turning in their graves~

But still its a very impressive sales record compared to many other top singles such as Hare Hare Yukai.

    So the Lucky Star OP was #2? That’s still damn good, considering that these bunch of seifuku girls lost to a group of Johnny’s Entertainment bishies…
