This is the new single release by abingdon boy school. For those that don’t know, Howling is the OP theme for the anime Darker than Black that currently airing.

This single was released in Japan yesterday on the 16th May 2007. Not a huge change in album art from the previous single Innocent Sorrow, just from black to white. But this time they included a a very beautiful emblem sticker as a freebie.

There are only 2 songs found on this single:

1. HOWLING
2. NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Very similar in style to the previous Innocent Sorrow release, the feature track “Howling” is in Japanese, while the second track “NERVOUS BREAKDOWN” is sung in English, just like “Fre@K $HoW” in the previous single.

Just some background information about abingdon boys school because I find that alot of people didn’t know that abdingdon boys school is actually fronted by Takanori Nishikawa (西川貴教). Who is he?! Just think T.M. Revolution.

Abingdon boys school is quite an interesting choice for the band name. But those that are Radiohead fans would know that the members of english band Radiohead all attended and practiced their music in Abingdon. This shows that Nishikawa is a big fan of them.

One thing is for sure, both songs are uber. Which makes the single a must buy!
